A millennial painter: playfully negotiating the tension between the digital and the analogue.

The motif of the tech-swipe - the greasy mark smeared by a language of swipes, clicks, flicks and drags across a pristine screen - illustrates the conversation between man and digital interface. Swipes become painterly marks: gestures.

Toying with gendered conceptions of the domestic interior and of colour, my paintings investigate the disparity between real space, pictorial space and virtual space in a world dominated by digital screens.
